With over fifteen years of experience in the publishing industry, I am a skilled and versatile copyeditor and proofreader who can handle a variety of book genres and formats for readers of all ages. I am passionate about ensuring the quality and accuracy of every manuscript I work on through the lens of evolving and inclusive language. I have an advanced diploma in copyediting, proofreading, and fact-checking from New York University, and I am confident editing in American, Canadian, and British English.

I am eligible to work for publishers based in the United States and Canada, and I have ongoing relationships with clients such as Penguin Random House (Clarkson Potter, DK Publishing, Dutton, Harmony, Sasquatch Books, Ten Speed Press, Tundra Books), Macmillan Children's Publishing Group (Henry Holt, FSG, Feiwel & Friends, Odd Dot), Scholastic Inc. (Scholastic Press, Orchard Books), and Podium Audio.

For nearly five years, I was the paperbacks managing editor at Penguin Random House Canada, where I was responsible for producing second format editions for all publications across adult imprints. I worked in collaboration with originating editors and publishers, production, design, sales, and operations departments to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of paperback titles. I have a keen eye for detail, a creative flair for design, and a solid understanding of market trends and consumer preferences.

Raised in Cleveland, Ohio, I lived in Brooklyn, New York, for thirteen years before immigrating to Canada, where I've called Toronto, Ontario, and Vancouver, British Columbia, home. I currently reside in Toronto with my husband and daughter.

The land I live and work on is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis. I also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit.
