About
With twenty years of experience in the publishing industry, I am a skilled and versatile copyeditor and proofreader who can handle a variety of book genres and formats for readers of all ages. I am passionate about ensuring the quality and accuracy of every manuscript I work on through the lens of evolving and inclusive language. I have an advanced diploma in copyediting, proofreading, and fact-checking from New York University, and I am confident editing in American, Canadian, and British English.
I am eligible to work for publishers based in the United States and Canada, and I have ongoing relationships with clients such as Penguin Random House (Ballantine, Clarkson Potter, DK, Dutton, Penguin Press, Riverhead, Sasquatch, Ten Speed Press, Tundra, Viking), Macmillan Children's Publishing Group (Feiwel & Friends, FSG, Henry Holt, Odd Dot), Scholastic Inc., and Podium Entertainment.
For five years, I was a managing editor at Penguin Random House Canada, where I was responsible for producing second format editions across adult imprints. I worked in collaboration with originating editors and publishers, and production, design, sales, and operations teams to ensure the delivery of hundreds of books throughout my tenure.
